Asasinii din decembrie 1989 nu au fost pedepsiţi. Cei mai mulţi au rămas anonimi, protejaţi nu doar de cei care le-au dat ordine, ci şi de cei interesaţi ca adevărul să rămână în morminte, lângă tinerii revoluţionari ucişi. Este extrem de greu de crezut că în viitorul apropiat cei vinovaţi vor ajunge după gratii, mai ales când avem de rupt un imens lanţ al complicităţii, verigile fiind politicieni, securişti, militari, procurori, judecători, ba chiar şi revoluţionari. Au fost condamnaţi doar câţiva naivi, dar şi pedepsele lor au fost reduse. Au mai fost condamnaţi şi generalii Stănculescu şi Chiţac, două personaje sinistre, care au sânge pe mâini, însă şi pentru acest cuplu de asasini s-a găsit o portiţă de scăpare. Tănase Joiţa, fostul procuror general, a înaintat recurs în anulare. Condamnarea la 15 ani de închisoare în 1999 a celor doi criminali a fost întâmpinată cu strigăte de mânie din partea lui Ion Iliescu, principalul vinovat pentru ascunderea adevărului asupra evenimentelor din decembrie 1989. Pentru a-şi proteja statutul de “emanaţie a revoluţiei”, Iliescu a făcut tot posibilul ca revoluţia de la Timişoara să fie murdărită prin asemănarea cu evenimentele petrecute la Bucureşti după 22 decembrie 1989. În oraşul de pe Bega tinerii au murit sub gloanţele represiunii ceauşiste, în timp ce victime în capitală s-au înregistrat după preluarea puterii de grupul Iliescu – Brucan. Dictatorul Ceauşescu a plătit şi pentru crimele săvârşite după executarea sa! Oricum, procesele nu au făcut altceva decât să-i scandalizeze pe răniţii revoluţiei şi pe supravieţuitori. Bolnavi, Stănculescu şi Chiţac pretind că sunt victime politice. Ale cui, nu prea se mai ştie. Se cunosc doar tertipurile la care recurg aceşti executanţi ai ordinelor lui Ceauşescu. Lipsiţi de bun-simţ, cei doi fie nu-şi mai găsesc avocaţi demni să-i apere, ca în cazul lui Stănculescu, fie nu-şi găsesc apărători care să vină la procese. O bătaie de joc nesancţionată, care continuă de peste 15 ani. Probabil că acuzaţii vor fi demult ţărână când odraslele judecătorilor care au plimbat inutil dosarele, dar care au avut un scop precis, vor da verdictul. Mă tem că nici atunci nu se va putea spune că, în sfârşit, s-a făcut dreptate.
Cei care cred că vor reuşi, prin astfel de bătăi de joc numite procese, să provoace o lehamite generală se înşală. Blestemul sângelui nevinovat vărsat nu se va risipi. Îi va urmări atât pe criminali, pe cei care au supravieţuit evenimentelor, cât şi pe rudele celor ucişi. Nu monumentele croite pe gustul lui Iliescu ne vor împiedica să uităm că asasinii nu au fost pedepsiţi, ci mormintele şi amintirea celor ucişi. Mai dureroasă decât absenţa celor care nu au apucat să se bucure de libertate este bătaia de joc dirijată de Iliescu şi alţi profitori ordinari care ţin de colivă la fiecare aniversare a evenimentelor din 1989, dar care ridică din umeri când sunt întrebaţi “cine a tras”. Îi loveşte amnezia, ca şi pe cei doi generali. Stănculescu se apără, spunând că procesul în care este acuzat nu-şi mai are rostul. Este gândirea rudimentară a asasinului trecut în rezervă, care a făcut de ruşine uniforma pe care a purtat-o. Mă tem că, în cazul acestui impostor, implicat în afaceri oneroase după 1989, până şi o condamnare pe tot restul vieţii este prea puţin.
