CINE STINGE LUMINA?

Craiova a fost şi ieri o “mică Veneţie”. Inundaţiile au “îmbrăţişat” zone întregi ale oraşului, nefericiţilor locatari ale căror case au fost invadate de apă şi nămol nerămânându-le altceva de făcut decât să blesteme şi să pună mâna pe găleţi. I-au luat în vizor pe toţi: primar, viceprimari, politicieni, drumari, arhitecţi… Nimeni nu a fost uitat. Din Brestei până în Romaneşti s-au auzit aceleaşi cuvinte “dulci” la adresa celor consideraţi vinovaţi de neplăcerea de a scoate apa cu găleata din casă. Îndeosebi nu a fost uitat fostul edil-şef al Băniei, “nemuritorul” Vasile Bulucea, bonomul bătrânel ales şi reales primar pentru merite pe care nu le-am priceput nici acum. În fine, nu vreau să pun în discuţie “meritele” lui Bulucea, pentru că se văd de la o poştă dacă ţii neapărat să te plimbi pe străzile noroioase din cartierele amintite, dar nici nu vreau să uit de promisiunile care s-au tot făcut în campaniile electorale. Nea Vasile a promis pentru că aşa era obişnuit, deprindere dobândită la şcoala la care erau şlefuiţi activiştii bolşevici. Nu s-a ţinut de cuvânt pentru că nici nu a intenţionat asta vreun moment. A construit un velodrom pe care se desfăşoară concerte şi a uitat să reabiliteze zone întregi de canalizare. Ce să mai amintim de străzile lăturalnice, devenite râuri noroioase, dacă despre miile de apartamente promise de respectivul prin 1996 putem vorbi doar ca despre simple “poveşti”? Oricum, tot ceea ce s-a construit în opt ani a fost plătit la preţuri pentru care PNA ar trebui să pună întrebări şi cătuşe, dar nu prea e timp de “răzbunări”, nu-i aşa? În schimb, fostul primar al Craiovei a plătit pentru promisiunile neonorate, reuşind să strângă voturi cât pentru o ieşire la pensie pe uşa din dos a politicii. Urmaşii lui au rămas cu beleaua pe cap, dând vina pe blestemata de canalizare şi pe greaua moştenire. Primarul Solomon şi viceprimarul Nedelescu (iar îl omit pe viceedilul-şef Iordache, dar el nu are vreo vină…) sunt chemaţi să spele obrazul oraşului, la propriu şi la figurat. Nimeni nu-i va ierta dacă, la sfârşitul mandatului, ruşinea de a scoate apa cu găleata din sufragerie nu va deveni o amintire neplăcută într-un municipiu care se doreşte european. Sigur, nimeni nu le poate reproşa că n-au rezolvat cât ai bate din palme ceea ce n-au făcut alţii în zeci de ani, dar scadenţa se apropie. Plus că exigenţele craiovenilor au crescut. Din nefericire, nu ne putem muta din oraş când plouă. Şi chiar dacă nu-ţi vine să te plimbi romantic prin bălţile de la periferie, nici prin centrul civic nu-ţi dă inima ghes. Aşa că, dragi edili, băgaţi miliarde în proiecte necesare cetăţenilor, opriţi chioşcariada care a repornit cu o frenezie suspectă şi, poate, la alegerile locale nu veţi mai avea dureri de cap! Din păcate, nu prea îţi vine să ieşi pe străzile Craiovei când plouă. Nici nu putem să emigrăm în masă, deşi mai sunt unii care ar vrea să ne alunge pe toţi şi se comportă ca şi cum Bănia ar fi deja pustie. Cine ar rămâne să stingă lumina?(19 aprilie 2005)
