ILIESCU PANDESTE

Ca şi în sport, în politică sunt momente în care protagoniştii de un anumit calibru trebuie să dea dovadă de luciditate şi să se retragă la timp. Din nefericire, puţini politicieni au simţul măsurii şi, mai mult decât atât, foarte puţini sunt cei care au acel simţ care să-i ferească de ridicol. Spre deosebire de elefanţii care se retrag să moară demn, în linişte, Iliescu vrea să supravieţuiască în politică în ciuda oricărui compromis. Pentru fostul şef al statului nu contează că este luat peste picior până şi de membrii PSD, care fac glume proaste pe seama senilităţii de care este grav afectat, ci alte “nimicuri”. Cum ar fi înfrângerea sa la Congresul PSD. De fapt, pe Iliescu îl deranjează cel mai mult că nu a fost ales preşedinte al partidului pe care l-a fondat. Şi de care se simte, rămâne de văzut pentru cât timp, “legat trup şi suflet”. Dincolo de expresia care ne reaminteşte limbajul lemnos utilizat în anii de glorie ai tovarăşului Iliescu, dar care trădează hotărârea nedeclarată de a se agăţa de gâtul partidului, chiar dacă există riscul de a-l trage la fund, este evident că puţin îi pasă acestui bătrânel periculos de posteritate. Învăţat să obţină fotoliul de lider de la un om de încredere pe care îl mandatase să i-l ţină cald “până se întoarce de la Cotroceni”, fostul şef al statului s-a văzut pus în umilitoarea postură de victimă a conspiraţiilor de partid. În discursul de ieri, de la Consiliul Naţional al PSD, s-a limitat să-i înfiereze mânios pe toţi aceia pe care îi bănuia de trădare şi, în stilul cunoscut, a preferat să atace în loc să se retragă. Mai mult decât atât, Iliescu a ales varianta penibilă de a rămâne un simplu membru în partidul despre care spune că este condus de lideri corupţi, sprijiniţi de grupuri oculte, care au obţinut victoria asupra sa în urma unor jocuri murdare. Nea Nelu, în acest caz, diagnosticul lui Geoană este corect: te-ai tâmpit! Sărac şi cinstit, pozând lângă Omar Hayssam, Iliescu alege să rămână alături de corupţi doar pentru a încerca să speculeze orice greşeală a lui Geoană, individul pe care îl consideră capul tuturor răutăţilor. Actualul preşedinte al PSD şi-a permis să spună sincer că a crezut în retragerea onorabilă a celui care a încercat să-l facă scăpat pe Miron Cozma, neştiind că sinceritatea este cel mai mare “defect” pe care îl dispreţuieşte Iliescu. Aşa că, după ce a primit semnale că “prostănacul” este vulnerabil, “Bunicuţa” s-a pus la pândă, pregătind de după colţ atacul împotriva trădătorilor. Ieri, amnezia i-a jucat o nouă festă, nereuşind să rostească vreun nume de corupt care, nu întâmplător, a făcut parte din camarila sa. Afundându-se în penibil, Iliescu a vrut să pozeze într-un înger incoruptibil, gata să scoată sabia dreptăţii pentru a curăţi partidul, dar care, în acelaşi timp, este incapabil să denunţe potlogăriile unuia ca Talpeş. N-a mai păcălit pe nimeni. Doar cei cu foarte multă imaginaţie ar mai fi crezut în varianta unei cruciade împotriva corupţiei iniţiate în principalul partid de opoziţie chiar de Iliescu. Nu-i mai ies jongleriile lui nea Nelu… Sunt doar răbufnirile întârziate ale unui bătrânel deranjat teribil de un singur lucru: că nu a fost ales preşedinte al PSD.
