Incapabile să producă altceva decât scandaluri şi strategii de trădare a aliaţilor, partidele livrează aceleaşi triste figuri autopropuse pentru funcţia de premier. Tăriceanu mai vreo o dată, semn că i-a plăcut aventura sa de premier, deşi neîncrederea şi nemulţumirea cetăţenilor în actualul premier au rămas la cote foarte ridicate de-a lungul mandatului. Campion al ridicolului şi victimă a inconsistenţei sale ca personaj politic, Geoană visează cu ochii deschişi la orice funcţie înaltă. N-a reuşit să câştige primăria Capitalei, a ratat nominalizarea în funcţia de premier după alegerile din 2004, apoi şi-a pregătit degeaba costumul de investitură. N-a fost să fie pentru Geoană, cel despre care Traian Băsescu a afirmat că nu-l va desemna niciodată pentru funcţia de prim-ministru. Preşedintele PSD s-a făcut de râs în numeroase situaţii când ameninţa, mai mult de ochii lumii, că va face praf guvernul cu o moţiune de cenzură. Geoană, un fel de domn Goe care-şi toarnă singur dulceaţă în şoşoni. Un alt pretendent la scaunul de premier este Stolojan, cel care a reuşit să-şi păstreze imaginea de om serios chiar şi după ce a fost amestecat în afaceri oneroase voalate de presă sau când dă declaraţii pe marginea piscinei. Este drept, Stolojan a reuşit să înşele atât de multă lume încât s-ar putea să-i reuşească şi acum figura, însă succesul său va însemna începutul unei perioade dramatice pentru noi. Păpuşa gonflabilă a preşedintelui nu va avea niciodată vreun cuvânt de spus în interiorul PD, partid care rămâne captivă grupului Blaga – Berceanu. Ar fi o eroare capitală ca viitorul premier să nu beneficieze de spijinul propriului partid ci doar de mofturile lui Băsescu. Aceştia sunt numele avansate de principalele partide pentru a forma viitorul guvern. În campania electorală vor fi folosite în rol de locomotive, urmând ca viitoarele negocieri pentru formarea executivului să intre în discuţii şi personaje ţinute în penumbră.
Ciudat este că PNL, PSD şi PD-L îşi leagă programele electorale de numele acestor politicieni care nu aduc nicio noutate, însă sunt obligaţi de conjunctura electorală să susţină un discurs al schimbărilor radicale. La vremuri noi, tot cu politicieni reşapaţi şi hârşiţi în bătălii electorale. Mai mult decât atât, pentru a masca lipsa unor specialişti pe care să-i împingă în viitoarele posturi de miniştri, partidele nu avansează nume, ci doar sloganuri şi programe generoase în promisiuni populiste. Pe hârtie totul pare promiţător. Când vine vorba de posibili ministeriabili întâlnim aceleaşi figuri stoarse de orice credibilitate, lustruite şi vopsite pentru a şterge rugina şi a masca gradul de uzură. Nimic mai rău decât lipsa de perspectivă şi de dezvoltare a unor speranţe legate de o nouă echipă la Palatul Victoria, capabilă să facă faţă şocurilor economico-financiare care vor urma.
Politicieni nu vând decât fum şi promisiuni, în timp ce oamenii înţeleg tot mai mult că nu ai cu cine să porneşti la un nou drum. Viitorul nu poate fi reprezentat de câţiva tineri utilizaţi în rol de ţuţări ai liderilor învechiţi în rele şi nici de politicieni expiraţi. Lipsa de încredere a electoratului în clasa politică este cauzată de faptul că pofta de ciolan a generaţiei expirate a crescut disproporţionat de mult, pe fondul crizei prelungite din justiţie şi a rateurilor date de instituţiile care ar fi trebuit să lupte împotriva corupţiei.
