Ce mai freamăt, ce mai zbucium în clasamentul VIP-urilor dâmboviţene! Jurnaliştii specializaţi pe monden fac o risipă de energie pentru a descoperi noi şi noi personaje de basm, vârându-le cu de-a sila în viaţa noastră. Ori nu te uiţi la televizor şi nu citeşti reviste sau ziare, riscând să-ţi amputezi unul dintre drepturile fundamentale – a te informa nu este un moft, ci o necesitate – ori serveşti din porţia de ridicol pe care mass-media ţi-o oferă drept bonus la ştiri utile. Zgomotoşi, stridenţi în comportament şi în vestimentaţie, frivoli şi, adeseori, lipsiţi de educaţie, “oamenii zilei” sunt promovaţi mai agresiv decât pasta de dinţi sau detergentul. Modelele de viaţă nu mai sunt căutate febril în bibliotecă sau la catedră, ci sunt fabricate de o industrie a derizoriului şi a prostului gust. V-aţi întrebat până acum de unde izvorăşte acest nesecat izvor de fandoseală şi limbuţie? De unde răsar toţi aceşti saltimbanci agramaţi şi agresivi, ferchezuiţi pentru a nu li se observa jegul de sub frunte?
Cândva urmăriţi în orice cotlon, numărându-le până şi paşii făcuţi către limuzinele de lux dinspre studiourile tv în care-şi etalează aroganţa şi prostia, Mutu şi Bahmuţeanca & Prigoană au alunecat pe panta banalului. Au fost detronaţi de noile vedete, de oamenii de succes ai clipei. Modelele de viaţă ce ni se propun sunt Gigi Becali şi Moni & Iri. Dacă despre ţopârlanul Becali, alintat de unii cu hiperbolizantul apelativ de “latifundiarul din Pipera” (pentru a nu-i stârni pofta de a face sex oral cu toţi angajaţii unei televiziuni care nu-l omagiază), nu prea mai sunt lucruri noi de arătat poporului, celebrul cuplu de îndrăgostiţi continuă să rămână sub lupa jurnaliştilor. Preluată încă de pe băncile şcolii, Monica este diva invidiată de o întreagă generaţie de junici pentru cadourile cu care Irinel Columbeanu o copleşeşte. Ce mai contează că amorezii sunt ridicoli şi că miliardarul îi putea fi bunic? E un nou stil de viaţă, un “model”. Fericirea e la un pas distanţă dacă poţi să te ţii de nas şi să guşti din acest mare tort de rahat pe care, uneori, fără voia lor, îl livrează jurnaliştii.
