Olimpici de aur, politicieni de tinichea

M-am numărat mereu printre cei care au pus la îndoială inteligenţa politică a lui Adrian Năstase. Studiile la Oslo sau profesoratul la Sorbona nu ajută prea mult în şerpăria de la Bucureşti, iar când lipsa de caracter şi predispoziţia pentru parvenire şi îmbogăţirea te domină, nu-ţi mai rămâne decât să-ţi schimbi cartea de identitate pentru a fi Adrian Năstase. Fostul premier pare a ilustra, prin împotrivirea sa de a veni în faţa justiţiei, portretul politicianului transpirat şi neinspirat, care se teme că, odată cu poziţia de parlamentar, va deveni un simplu muritor. “Cum, să fiu doar un simplu profesor universitar, anchetat de procurori şi chemat în instanţă?”, şi-a spus Năstase.
Arogant, cu o avere fabuloasă dobândită prin jefuirea statului prin intermediari şi doritor de adulatori de serviciu, actualul preşedinte al Consiliului Naţional al PSD nu-şi dă seama că, salvându-şi pielea, scufundă nu doar propriul partid, ci şi opoziţia anti-prezidenţială. Respingerea cererilor de urmărire penală în dosarele Năstase şi Mitrea fac din Parlamentul României un simbol al corupţiei. Pe fondul avertismentelor din ce în ce mai categorice din partea Comisiei Europene, preşedintele Băsescu loveşte din plin într-o masă amorfă de politicieni dispreţuiţi de majoritatea populaţiei. Raportul CE privind întârzierea reformelor în justiţie şi blocarea luptei anti-corupţie capătă o dovadă palpabilă după votul din Camera Deputaţilor, unde PSD s-a acoperit de ruşine.
Ceva mai inteligent, Miron Mitrea a anunţat că va demisiona din Parlament la începerea sesiunii din septembrie, lăsând fără obiect discursul preşedintelui. Dacă Adrian Năstase ar fi făcut acelaşi lucru sau măcar ar fi anunţat o dată la care va demisiona pentru a se pune la dispoziţia procurorilor, copiind celebrul model al demisiei lui Băsescu, aş fi putut spune că lipsa mea de încredere în flerul său de politician nu ar mai fi avut justificare. În schimb, eu am în continuare dreptate în timp ce preşedintele şi portavocile PD-L vor chirăi ca din gură de şarpe că PSD este un cuib de corupţi, protejat de coaliţia “322”, redusă acum la “160”.
Alternativ cu informaţiile despre mizeria din Camera Deputaţilor, mass media difuzau informaţii despre reprezentanţii României la Jocurile Olimpice de la Beijing. Sportivi care nu au beneficiat nici pe departe de mediatizarea de care s-au bucurat Mitrea şi Năstase au reuşit, numai ei şi antrenorii ştiind prin ce miracole, să obţină rezultate uluitoare. Medaliile obţinute până acum, la care se vor adăuga cu siguranţă şi altele, cântăresc enorm pentru imaginea României, în timp ce ruşinoasa prestaţie a parlamentarilor mioritici nu face altceva decât să ne scufunde şi mai mult în mocirlă. Ana Maria Brânză a luptat pentru titlul olimpic la spadă şi a cucerit o medalie de argint exact în momentul în care aleşii naţiunii se flagelau şi erau în culmea fericirii pentru că sunt imuni în faţa legii. În felul lor, sunt şi ei campioni, recompensaţi cu medalia de tinichea şi, probabil, cu noi mandate de parlamentari mai presus de lege.
